Zane, our Managing Director and Kelvin's son, has been integral to Catering Aids since 1988, bringing over 30 years of expertise as a qualified Fridge Mechanic. He values the family heritage within the business, having worked alongside three generations of Parkers. Zane is proud of his ability to drive anything, from forklifts to his cherished Mustang, and even boasts a unique talent for walking on his hands. His passion lies in the creative aspect of each unique project, with a memorable trip to China in 2018 highlighting the diversity of his role.
Meet Kelvin, the pioneering founder of Catering Aids. Since launching the company as ‘P.K. Kitchens’ back in 1975, Kelvin has been at the forefront of innovation within the hospitality industry, with his inventions reaching kitchens in 17 countries. Kelvin's favourite memories include opening offices in Fiji and the numerous export awards won under his guidance. When not reminiscing about his impactful career, Kelvin enjoys restoring old furniture and is known for his sharp memory and quick wit, often lightening the mood around the workplace.
Riley, the welcoming face of Catering Aids and Zane's son, officially joined the team after years of school holiday work, bringing a blend of office savvy and hands-on factory experience. As a young homeowner, Riley is all about renovation and DIY, showcasing his problem-solving skills off the clock too. He's known for his quick Rubik's cube-solving prowess and dreams of designing Australia's best rooftop bars and beer gardens.
Introducing Ethan, our apprentice working towards becoming a qualified Fridge Mechanic. Another of Zane's sons, Ethan has embraced the family business with enthusiasm, valuing the problem-solving and learning opportunities that come with every project. One of his cherished experiences was working on the One and All Sailing Ship. Beyond work, Ethan is an avid skateboarder, aiming to broaden his trade skills into electrical work in the future.
